Major Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of our client, a respected firm in Leicestershire, to recruit an Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team and play a key role in delivering accurate payroll services to a diverse client base.

Location: Leicestershire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 15–35 hours per week (flexible working considered)

What You’ll Do

  • Manage weekly, monthly, and annual payroll data entry services for clients across multiple sectors.
  • Process starters, leavers, workplace pensions
  • Calculate and apply statutory payments
  • Produce Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) remittance slips and report CIS details to HMRC.
  • Handle payroll/CIS reporting and auditing.
  • Submit pension declarations and assist with year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with accounts and tax teams to produce reports.
  • Communicate directly with clients and HMRC, resolving queries and providing guidance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a time-critical environment.
  • Professional communication skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Payroll experience preferred, but we welcome candidates with transferable skills.
